Lunch Program
Free lunch for all students, grades K-12
A lunch program is offered to students in grades K-12 at The Vanguard School. Colorado Springs School District 11, our lunch provider, participates in the Healthy School Meals for All program, so all students enrolled in grades K-12 receive lunch provided at no cost.
Studies have shown that students who are not hungry perform better in school. By providing lunch to all students at no cost, we hope to create a better learning environment for our students.
Please Still Submit Your Household Income Information
As in previous years, it is important for households to provide their household income information when requested via an application. While meals are provided at no cost to all Vanguard students, District 11 Food and Nutrition Services must continue gathering this information in order to receive full access to state and federal funding.
If you believe your family may qualify for Free and Reduced Price Meals, use the link below to view District 11’s application process.
